STEP 1: Unpacking and charging

STEP 2: PAIR APPLE WATCH WITH IPHONE

STEP 3: SETUP APPLE WATCH PREFERENCES

STEP 4: DEFAULT APPS AND APPLE WATCH SECURITY SETTINGS

STEP 5: INITIALIZING

  1. To add or remove clock faces on Apple Watch, raise your wrist (or tap the screen) and click the Digital Crown until you return to the clock face.

  7.  Now, you’ll see the watch face big, but with an outline and a few of dots at the top. The first screen allows you to change the color for the time and the complications on the watch face. Turn the digital crown to select the color you want.
  8. . You change the global settings for the watch face. That could be the color, or picking between a jellyfish and a flower, or choosing the scale on the chronograph. You can then swipe left or right to go to more settings screens. In addition to customizing existing watch faces, you can create new watch faces based on the existing ones. STEP 7: APPLE WATCH SETTINGS

Like your iPhone, your Apple Watch has a huge array of settings to go through. You can adjust some of them on the Watch itself in its settings app, but it’s faster and easier to just do most of this on your iPhone — the settings sync over quickly.

You can easily customize which and what notifications you want to see on your Apple watch. By default, everything that notifies you on your iPhone will also notify you on Apple Watch. If your iPhone is unlocked, you’ll get notifications on your iPhone, instead of your Apple Watch. The Apple Watch can Play songs without your iPhone and can also do some other things without it’s other half. Your Apple Watch playlist is limited to 1 GB by default. In the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, you can change this setting to 2 GB, 500 MB, or 100 MB. If you prefer to limit by song number, you can limit your playlist to 15, 50, 125, or 250 songs. But to do it, you’ll have to head into iTunes or the Music app on your phone to sync some music over to the Watch. Set up a playlist, then find the settings for Music in the Watch app on your iPhone, and that’s where you pick your playlist.

  1. Set your Apple Watch on its charger and make sure the device is charging.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

  4. Tap the playlist you want to sync to your Apple Watch. When a message next to your playlist says Sync Pending, your playlist will begin syncing from your iPhone to your Apple Watch.

By swiping up from the Apple Watch face, Glances are displayed, such as the weather forecast or the user’s current location. Swiping will cycle through Glances, and tapping on a Glance will launch the associated app. Glances, are the small info screens you access by swiping up from the watch face. You will a ton of glances on your Apple watch. You will not use each of them because there are a lot of them, and having to swipe through stuff you absolutely don’t care about to access stuff that you do care about is annoying. And the best way to get rid of unused glances that you don’t want to use is from the Glances setting in the app. It is like Notification Center. You can reorder glances or hit the minus button to take them off your watch.

STEP 13: ORGANIZE YOUR APPS AND SET PREFERENCES

The good news is that new Apple Watch user can make things a bit more bearable by organizing and rearranging their Apple Watch apps into a layout that works best for them. Apps on the Apple Watch are organized in a honeycomb pattern.
