Apple has added its apple watch force touch or 3D touch technology to apple iPhone 6s and iphone 6 Plus. You can also say that 3D touch is a variation of Force Touch, which you can find on the Apple Watch and on some Apple Mac trackpads.
What is 3d touch technology? – iPhone 6s 3D touch
When you press or hold the iPhone screen, it will trigger pressure-sensitive capability that will open up menus and actions on iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, like you see on apple watch.
You just have to press down or hold the screen and you can pull up or pen up context-sensitive menus, switch or close apps or can also see photo effects like Live Photos. So, like apple watch you just have to press or force your apple iPhone 6s screen to do certain things.
The device features a pressure-sensitive display that adds more functionality to its apps.
If you want to access shortcuts on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus, you can do it by using 3D touch feature. Accessing shortcuts on your iPhone 6s will be very easy. Messaging a friend, or if you are using email app on iPhone 6s plus or 6s then applying fingertip pressure to an element in the message will open more information, which apple named as a peeking feature.
Pressing harder on an app will likewise generate more options, like viewing all the photos of a contact’s Instagram photo stream. In the context of a game, pressing harder could zoom you in to get closer to the action.
