In this tutorial we will see how to solve this type of inconveniences in Windows 10 environments. f you have problems with the bluetooth in Windows 10, we tell you different ways to solve the possible errors
1. Verification services Bluetooth Windows 10
One of the first steps that we must validate is that the service associated with Bluetooth is working correctly. To do this we use the key combination + R and in the window displayed enter the command
- services . msc
In the displayed window we will look for the service called “Bluetooth compatibility service“
There we must validate that the service is started, otherwise we must start it by pressing the Start button
From this window we can deploy the Startup Type field and select the Automatic option so that the service is executed automatically when the session is started
2. Delete and add Bluetooth device
Another of the options we have, if the previous one does not work, we must try to delete and add the Bluetooth device again because many times records or system parameters are corrupted. For this we will go to the next route. (Located in the Hardware and Sound field)
- Control Panel / View Devices and Printers
When selecting this option we will see the Bluetooth device located in the Devices field
Once the device is located we will right click on it and select the option Remove device
Once removed we must add it by pressing the Add a device button and add it to the system.
3. Allow Bluetooth to find computer task execution
It is often the case that Bluetooth devices can not find the device within range and this can cause problems.
To verify this we will again access the option Devices and printers from the Control Panel and we will right click on the icon of our equipment and select the option Bluetooth Configuration
Once this option is selected we will see the following window.
Select the ” Allow Bluetooth devices to find this device” box, and click OK to save the changes.
4. Use Windows 10 Troubleshooter
If any of the above options still do not allow a proper communication between the computer and the device we can make use of the Windows troubleshooter which we find in the control panel. When executing the solver, we will see the following window:
There we will click on the Hardware and Sound option and in the displayed window we choose the option Hardware and devices :
The following window will be displayed.
There click Next and follow the steps of the wizard.
5 . Update or reinstall Bluetooth driver
The last option we can use is to update or reinstall the Bluetooth device driver and to do this process we will access the device manager from the control panel and there we will locate the Bluetooth line and right click on the active device and choose the option Properties
There we go to the Controller tab and perform the respective process of updating or reinstalling the controller.
Using these methods we can solve the problems presented with our Bluetooth devices in Windows 10. In this way we will avoid that any errors prevent our connection between devices is not as effective as it should be.
