Apple TV shows: chasing Netflix and Amazon
You can call it as Appleflix or Applezon, or even iFlix or iZon. I’m little bit curious, because, that’s the apple way to name its new coming products.
According to news site The Street, the tech giant Apple has been speaking with man well established TV producers and premium studios about creating new TV programs that would be offered exclusively to iTunes customers. Although, Apple declined to comment on The Street’s report.
Apple TV shows? It would be good for both Apple and Apple TV sales if a streaming service with original content were announced soon. As we mentioned before, the service could be unveiled in September this year, along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Both Amazon and Netflix are growing faster and their TV program are getting more popularity. Earlier, Amazon’s “Mozart in the Jungle” won two Golden Globes. Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is just one of a stable of well-known shows, which includes “House of Cards,” itself a winner of a best TV show Golden Globe, in 2015.
So far Apple has not confirmed if it’s looking to enter this market however it certainly won’t be the only one making original shows. As mentioned before, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon have all come out with their own shows and even movies
